The Home Inspection Process
→ Read and sign inspection agreement.
→ Make notes and pose any questions that you have about the agreement.
→ You will recieve the best inspection possible if the inspector is allowed to complete the inspection independently. There are some areas, for safety reasons that you are not allowed in when being inspected ie; attic, electrical panel. The inspector will be less distracted and be better able to stay with his/her routine. Take this opportunity to have another viewing of the property and make notes to ask the inspector about. At completion the inspector will give a verbal report and point out to the buyers any observations that may be of concern, and answer any questions the buyers may have.
→ You will recieve within 28 hours a full written report. This allows us time to do any follow up research we feel is needed, such as investingating if any recalls are in place for furnaces etc.
→ Should, as a result of the inspection the seller agrees to repair or update some items we will reinspect the property to evaluate the completion of these items. There is no extra charge for this service.
→ Should you as a result of the inspection decide not to purchase the property we will offer you a substantial discount on your next inspection.
